Centre for Women’s Studies, University of Allahabad, Announces Annual Lecture on Gendering History

The Centre for Women’s Studies at the University of Allahabad is set to host its Annual Lecture on Friday, September 6, 2024. The lecture, titled "Gendering History: The Indian Context," will take place at 12:00 pm in the Auditorium of the Ishwar Topa Complex, Senate Hall Campus, University of Allahabad.

This event will be graced by distinguished personalities in the field of women’s studies. The Director of the Centre for Women’s Studies, Prof. Jaya Kapoor, will be leading the event. The Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor of the University of Allahabad, Prof. Sangita Srivastava, will serve as the Patron and Chairperson for the lecture. The guest speaker for this occasion will be Prof. Vasudha Pande from LSR, New Delhi, who will share her insights on the topic.

This lecture is organized under the aegis of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the University of Allahabad and promises to provide an enriching discussion on the intersection of gender and history in the Indian context. The academic community and interested participants are cordially invited to attend.
