About the Internship

The Office of Hon’ble Mr. Justice R. Mahadevan, Judge, Supreme Court of India is inviting applications for a full-time physical internship on a rolling basis until January 2026.
This program provides an invaluable opportunity to work closely with the Judge’s chamber and gain first-hand exposure to the functioning of the Supreme Court of India.

Intern roles and responsibilities include:

• Preparing case notes and briefs
• Conducting legal research
• Observing Supreme Court proceedings
• Assisting in the chamber’s academic and judicial work

This opportunity is ideal for highly motivated law students aspiring to build strong research and drafting skills within the judicial system.

Eligibility Criteria

Applications are invited from:

• 3rd year or above students of the 5-year integrated law program, OR
• 2nd year or above students of the 3-year LL.B. program

Candidates must possess strong analytical abilities, legal research skills, and a demonstrated interest in constitutional and judicial processes.

Important Timeline

• Internships are available on a rolling basis up to January 2026

• Last date to apply for any month: 22nd of the preceding month
  (Example: For a December internship, submit the application by 22 November)

• Shortlisted candidates will be notified via email by the 24th of the preceding month, followed by a virtual interview.
