About the Internship

Novation Legal is currently accepting applications for a Due Diligence Intern to work full-time and on-site at its New Delhi office.
This internship offers hands-on exposure to corporate due diligence, compliance checks, risk analysis, and business evaluation processes, making it ideal for law students looking to build a career in corporate law, M&A, investment advisory, and business transactions.

Roles & Responsibilities

The Due Diligence Intern will work directly with the legal team on tasks including:

• Conducting detailed legal and market research
• Collecting and examining documents related to business entities and transactions
• Preparing comprehensive due diligence reports
• Assisting in evaluating financial data and potential business ventures
• Supporting risk assessment and investment analysis
• Vetting relevant compliance & regulatory strategies
• Maintaining well-organised documentation and research records
  This role requires accuracy, depth of assessment, and analytical clarity in all deliverables.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must demonstrate:

• Strong research and analytical skills
• Ability to conduct financial analysis and market-based assessments
• Understanding of business strategy, risk evaluation, and investment frameworks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Teamwork, professionalism, and ability to meet deadlines
• Preferred educational background: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Law (BBA LL.B / B.Com LL.B preferred)
