🔍 Job Overview: International Lawyer

As CAU continues to expand its academic and research footprint internationally, the role of an International Lawyer is vital in ensuring all legal processes comply with both local and international regulations. The successful candidate will work closely with university leadership, academic departments, and international partners to provide legal support on a wide range of cross-border matters.

✨ Key Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate international contracts and agreements
Provide legal support for academic collaborations, international accreditations, and cross-border hiring
Assist with legal aspects of admitting and supporting international students
Offer expert advice on international law, education law, and migration regulations
Represent the university in international negotiations and formal legal settings

✅ Required Qualifications

Higher legal education with a specialization in International Law
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in an international legal environment
Strong command of English (Upper-Intermediate level or higher) and fluency in Russian
Proficient in drafting legal documents in both English and Russian
Excellent negotiation skills and attention to detail
Competency in MS Office and legal research databases
