Allahabad University to Begin UG and IPS Admission Registration from Third Week of June via CUET Score

CUET-Based Admissions for 17 UG & IPS Courses, Including New Yoga & Nutrition Program

Prayagraj, June 4 – The University of Allahabad (AU), one of India's prestigious central universities, is set to begin the admission process for undergraduate (UG) and Institute of Professional Studies (IPS) courses from the third week of June 2025, based on scores from the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

This year, the university is streamlining the admission process after delays caused last year due to the late receipt of CUET data from NTA. An official meeting between the Director of Admissions Prof. J.K. Pati and the university administration is scheduled later this week to finalize the admission timeline and procedures.

CUET-Based Admissions for 17 Programs

Admission to 17 UG and IPS programs will be based on CUET-UG scores. These include:

Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)
Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)
Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.)
Bachelor of Laws (B.A. LL.B. – 5-Year Integrated)
B.Sc.-M.Sc. in Family and Community Science (5-Year Integrated)
BBA-MBA (5-Year Integrated)
BCA-MCA in Data Science (5-Year Integrated)
Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)
Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc.)
Bachelor of Performing Arts (BPA)
Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA)

New Five-Year Course in Yoga & Nutrition Introduced

Starting from the 2025-26 academic session, Allahabad University will introduce a new five-year integrated course in Yoga and Nutrition, which will also require a valid CUET-UG score for admission.

PGAT 2025 Admit Card to be Released on June 4

Separately, for postgraduate admissions, the university will conduct the Postgraduate Admission Test (PGAT) 2025 from June 10 to 13 in both online and offline modes. The admit cards will be released on June 4 (Wednesday). Around 8,000 PG seats across 61 postgraduate programs will be filled through this examination.
