Chambers of Hon'ble Mr. Justice Augustine George Masih Invites Applications for Supreme Court Internship (August–Winter Vacation 2026)
The Chambers of Hon'ble Mr. Justice Augustine George Masih, Judge, Supreme Court of India, has invited applications for its full-time physical internship programme commencing from August 2026 and continuing until the Winter Vacation 2026. The internship offers law students an opportunity to gain first-hand exposure to judicial functioning and legal research at the Supreme Court of India.
Selection will be made through scrutiny of applications followed by an assessment of shortlisted candidates.
About the Chambers of Hon'ble Mr. Justice Augustine George Masih
The Chambers of Hon'ble Mr. Justice Augustine George Masih functions at the Supreme Court of India and provides law students with an opportunity to understand judicial decision-making, legal research, and court procedures while working closely with the office of a sitting Supreme Court Judge.
About the Internship
The internship is a full-time, in-person judicial internship designed to provide practical exposure to judicial work at the Supreme Court of India. Interns will have the opportunity to observe the functioning of the Court and gain valuable insight into judicial processes.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be in the 4th or 5th year of a 5-year LL.B. programme, or
- Be in the final year of a 3-year LL.B. programme.
The above eligibility requirement may be relaxed for candidates demonstrating exceptional legal knowledge, experience, and skills.
Applicants must also:
- Have completed at least one internship at a Trial Court.
- Have completed at least one internship at a High Court in India.
Preference will be given to candidates with prior judicial internship experience.
Selection Process
Selection will be based on:
- Scrutiny of applications by the competent authority.
- Assessment of shortlisted candidates.
Stipend
No remuneration will be provided.
