Hamari Pahchan NGO has invited applications for its One-Month Online Legal Internship, offering law students an opportunity to apply their legal knowledge to real-world social justice initiatives. The internship focuses on legal research, policy advocacy, legal awareness, and community engagement while addressing issues such as education, malnutrition, menstrual hygiene, and elderly care.

The internship is open to law students from all years and provides remote learning, mentorship, and opportunities to contribute to impactful legal awareness campaigns.

About the Internship

The One-Month Online Legal Internship is designed for law students who wish to bridge the gap between classroom learning and practical legal advocacy.

Interns will work on socially relevant issues while developing practical skills in legal research, policy analysis, legal awareness, and public advocacy through digital campaigns and community-oriented projects.

Eligibility

Applicants must:

  • Be pursuing a 3-year LL.B. or 5-year integrated B.A. LL.B./B.B.A. LL.B. programme.
  • Be law students from any year of study.
  • Possess good communication, legal research, and writing skills.
  • Have an interest in public interest law, human rights, and community service.

Roles and Responsibilities

Selected interns will:

  • Research legal and policy frameworks relating to social justice issues.
  • Draft legal awareness materials, including pamphlets, posters, and digital content.
  • Prepare campaign content and assist in digital fundraising initiatives.
  • Monitor legal developments and suggest policy reforms.
  • Contribute to the NGO's pro bono lawyer network and outreach initiatives.
  • Create educational videos or short reels for public legal awareness.
  • Learn the process of filing RTIs and prepare advocacy reports.

Duration

One Month

Joining

Selected candidates are expected to join during the first week of the following month after selection.

Mode

Online (Remote)

All tasks will be completed remotely with digital mentorship and reporting.

Stipend

This is an unpaid internship.

However, top-performing interns will receive:
