NUSRL Ranchi Invites Applications for Young Leader Fellowship Program 2026 Under Norec Exchange Programme
The National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL), Ranchi has invited applications from eligible Indian candidates for the Young Leader Fellowship Program 2026 under the Norec Exchange Programme in collaboration with FNB Nepal. The fellowship offers an excellent opportunity for law students, graduates, researchers, and young legal professionals to gain international exposure through a cross-border legal leadership and capacity-building programme.
Selected fellows will undertake a six-month fellowship in Nepal, followed by a two-month knowledge-sharing and follow-up programme at NUSRL, Ranchi.

The National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL), Ranchi was established by the Government of Jharkhand in 2010. The Chief Justice of the Jharkhand High Court serves as the Chancellor of the University, while the Governor of Jharkhand is its Rector. The University is recognised for its commitment to excellence in legal education, research, and professional development.
About the Fellowship
The Young Leader Fellowship Program 2026 is being conducted under the Norec Exchange Programme between NUSRL, Ranchi and FNB Nepal.
The programme aims to provide participants with international exposure in legal leadership, policy engagement, and institutional capacity building through a structured exchange programme.
Selected fellows will spend:
- Six months with FNB Nepal
- Two months at NUSRL, Ranchi for knowledge-sharing, reporting, and follow-up activities

Applications are invited from:
- LL.B. degree holders
- Final-year integrated law students
- LL.M. students
- Research scholars
- Early-career legal professionals

- Two months of post-exchange knowledge-sharing and follow-up at NUSRL, Ranchi
Mode
International exchange programme comprising:
- In-person fellowship in Nepal
- Post-exchange programme in India
Age Limit
Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years of age.
Stipend
Selected fellows will receive a stipend of ₹60,000–₹70,000, subject to project funding norms.
