About the Internship

ELT Corporate Private Limited is hiring Legal Regulatory & Research Interns to work closely with its legal and regulatory teams. The internship provides practical exposure to Indian regulatory frameworks, business approvals, compliance requirements and legal research.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

• Currently pursuing an LL.B., B.A. LL.B., BBA LL.B. or LL.M., preferably in the final or penultimate year.
• Strong legal research, writing and analytical skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• An interest in regulatory law, compliance or corporate law.
• Familiarity with legal research databases such as SCC Online or Manupatra will be an advantage.

Roles and Responsibilities

Selected interns may be involved in the following tasks:

• Researching Indian regulatory frameworks, including CDSCO Medical Devices Rules, BIS, Legal Metrology, FSSAI, cosmetics and EPR regulations.
• Tracking and summarising notifications, circulars, amendments and guidelines issued by regulatory authorities.
• Conducting legal research on statutes, case law and company law matters.
• Preparing research notes and legal memoranda.
• Assisting in the preparation and review of regulatory applications, licensing documents and compliance checklists.
• Supporting the drafting and review of contracts, agreements and other legal documents.
• Contributing to research-based articles, blogs and client advisories.

Stipend

Selected candidates will receive a stipend of ₹5,000 for the one-month internship.

Duration

The internship will run for one month, with the possibility of an extension.
