National Testing Agency (NTA) Expected to Release City Intimation Slip for UGC NET June 2025 Soon
New Delhi, June 18, 2025:
Candidates appearing for the UGC NET June 2025 examination are eagerly awaiting the release of the Exam City Intimation Slip. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has not yet released the slip, but it is expected to be made available soon on the official website ugcnet.nta.ac.in. Once released, candidates will be able to check their allotted exam city and prepare accordingly.
Exam City Slip is Not Admit Card
Candidates must note that the Exam City Slip is only a pre-information tool to help them plan their travel and logistics. It is not the actual admit card. The official UGC NET Admit Card will be issued 3-4 days before the exam and will contain the exact address of the exam center along with other details.
UGC NET June 2025 Exam Dates
The UGC NET June 2025 exam will be conducted from June 25 to June 29, 2025, in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. The exam will be held in two shifts:
- Shift 1: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- Shift 2: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
The exam will cover 85 subjects and will determine eligibility for Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) roles in Indian universities and colleges. From June 2024, the UGC NET score is also being considered for PhD admissions across the country.
How to Download UGC NET June 2025 Exam City Slip
Follow these steps to download your city intimation slip once released:
- Visit the official website: ugcnet.nta.ac.in
- Click on the link labeled "UGC NET June 2025 Exam City Slip" on the homepage
- Enter your Application Number and Password/Date of Birth
- Your Exam City Slip will appear on the screen
- Download and take a printout of the slip for future reference
What’s Next After the City Slip?
Once the City Intimation Slip is released, candidates can expect the Admit Cards to be released approximately 3-4 days before the examination date. Candidates must ensure all details on the admit card are correct and contact NTA in case of discrepancies.
