📢 NJRC and Nyay’ri to Host Free POSH Workshop on June 28, 2025
🌸 Empowering Workplaces Through Legal Awareness on Sexual Harassment Prevention

In a collective stride towards promoting safer workplaces, the National Justice Reform Council (NJRC), in collaboration with Project Nyay’ri, is organising a free workshop on Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) at the workplace on June 28, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM.
The session will be led by Advocate Yamina Rizvi, Legal Consultant at Nyay’ri, and an advocate known for her passionate work in women’s rights and domestic violence litigation. The workshop is open to everyone, irrespective of background or profession.
🧠 About the Workshop
The workshop is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the POSH Act, 2013, its implementation, and the legal rights and responsibilities of both employers and employees. Participants will learn how to identify and prevent harassment, support victims, and foster a workplace culture of dignity and respect.
This initiative is a part of NJRC and Nyay’ri’s ongoing commitment to make legal education and mental health awareness more accessible to women, especially those in vulnerable situations.
🧪 Live Quiz & Internship Opportunity
Following the main session, a 30-minute live quiz on the POSH Act will be conducted from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM. This interactive segment will help participants assess their learning. Top performers will receive a certificate and an online internship opportunity with NJRC, adding valuable exposure and credibility to their professional journey.
👩🏫 About the Speaker: Adv. Yamina Rizvi
With over 5 years of litigation experience across district courts, Delhi High Court, and tribunals, Adv. Yamina Rizvi brings a rich blend of legal expertise and empathy to her work. As Legal Consultant at Nyay’ri, she has played a pivotal role in advising and empowering women affected by domestic violence and workplace harassment.
Her deep understanding of client needs, coupled with her analytical rigor and drafting skills, makes her an ideal mentor for this workshop.
