UGC Invites Applications for ODL & Online Programmes Recognition (2026–27)
About the Update
The University Grants Commission (UGC) has issued a public notice inviting fresh applications from eligible Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) for recognition to offer programmes under Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and Online Mode for the academic year 2026–27 (session beginning August 2026 onwards).
This invitation is issued in accordance with the UGC (ODL & Online Programmes) Regulations, 2020 and subsequent amendments.

Eligible HEIs must submit applications online through the Distance Education Bureau (DEB) portal within the prescribed timeline.

- Hard copy of application
