About Defence Innovation Organisation

About the Position
DIO is looking to engage one Program Executive (Legal) to support its legal functions.
The selected professional will be required to handle legal matters relating to documentation, contracts, interpretation of laws, arbitration and other legal functions associated with the organisation's work.
Eligibility
Candidates must fulfil either of the following educational and experience requirements:
- LL.B. degree with at least 4 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field; or
- LL.M. degree with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field.
Candidates should have experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Working as a legal adviser, legal executive or in a similar position with a reputed company, Government Department or PSU;
- Legal documentation;
- Filing of cases and representation before courts of law;
- Contract management;
- Legal interpretation;
- Arbitration.
Applicants should also possess knowledge of the Acts, Rules and Regulations applicable to startups, MSMEs, Government Departments and companies. These eligibility requirements are consistent with DIO's published recruitment specifications for the Program Executive (Legal) role.

Salary
