Banaras Hindu University Announces PG Admission for Academic Session 2025-26

Varanasi, May 22, 2025 – The Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has officially begun the registration process for Postgraduate Admissions (Academic Year 2025–26). As per the official notice issued by the Central Admission Committee, registrations for PG programs based on CUET (PG) 2025 scores commenced from 22nd May 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have appeared in the CUET (PG) 2025, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), are eligible to apply for admission into various PG programs offered by BHU.

Eligible candidates can register and submit their applications by visiting the official BHU admission portals:

  • Applicants must carefully read the BHU CUET PG Information Bulletin 2025 before registering.
  • The information bulletin is available on both official portals mentioned above.

Deadline to Apply

The last date to register for BHU PG admission is 10th June 2025 (11:59 PM).
Late applications will not be accepted under any circumstances.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CANDIDATES BEFORE REGISTERING ONLINE

  1. Admission to all PG Programs of BHU will be done on the basis of the Common University Entrance Test- Postgraduate 2025 [CUET (PG) – 2025] only, for the academic year 2025-26. BHU has adopted Combined Allotment Program for Post Graduation courses [CAP (PG) – 2025].
  2. Candidate must ensure that he/she has opted for Banaras Hindu University (BHU) at the time of filling up of CUET 2025 form of NTA and has appeared in the concerned test for the PG Programs of BHU.
  3. Candidates must read, understand and familiarize themselves with the NTA CUET (PG) Information Bulletin, BHU Post Graduation Information Bulletin (PGIB) -2025 and BHU Combined Allotment Program for Post Graduation Courses [CAP (PG) - 2025] before proceeding with the registration.
  4. The basic eligibility for admission in Postgraduate Program is based on the following:
    1. Entrance Test Subjects chosen at the examination conducted by NTA-CUET (PG).
    2. NTA -CUET (PG) score obtained for specific Postgraduate Program of BHU.
    3. Subjects studied at graduation level.
    4. Percentage of marks scored at graduation level. In case of CGPA, the same should be converted into percentage as per rules of the concerned university.
  5. Candidate's Date of Birth, Gender, Category claim (if applicable) and the selection of PG Program should be the same as opted in the NTA entrance examination. Any mismatch information will lead to the cancellation of the candidate’s candidature.
  6. Registration for BHU will be based on the NTA Application Number therefore candidate should have valid NTA Application Number.
  7. Candidate must keep ready a scanned copy (jpeg or pdf) of 10th Marksheet, 12th Marksheet, UG Marksheets (All semester marksheet), Birth Certificate and other relevant documents.
  8. Candidate must be prepared to pay the Registration Fee (Non-refundable) online during the registration process.
  9. Candidates must carefully check their age eligibility for the specific courses from the BHU Information Bulletin before applying.
  10. Use Laptop or Desktop for hassle-free experience.
