Important Update for CUET UG 2025 Aspirants
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released a fresh public notice dated 23rd May 2025 announcing the extension of the consent deadline for the CUET UG 2025 Accountancy re-test. This update is crucial for candidates who appeared for the Accountancy paper between 13th to 16th May 2025 under the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for Undergraduate programmes.
Why the Re-Test?
As per the NTA’s earlier public notice dated 21st May 2025, candidates who had taken the Accountancy exam during the said dates are being provided with an option:
- Either to retain their previously obtained score, or
- To re-appear for the Accountancy test under a revised question paper pattern.
New Consent Deadline: 24th May 2025 (1:00 PM)
The original deadline for submitting consent was 23rd May 2025 (1:00 PM), but it has now been extended by 24 hours, giving students until 24th May 2025 (1:00 PM) to decide.
How to Submit Consent?
Interested candidates must submit their consent via the official NTA link:
No Response Means Score Retained
If a candidate does not submit any response (Yes/No) within the stipulated time, the score from the original test (13th–16th May) will be considered final. No changes or retest options will be available afterward.
Details on Re-Test: Date, Time & Centre
The exact schedule and examination centre details for the re-test will be announced soon on the official NTA websites:
Candidates are advised to regularly check these portals for latest updates and announcements.
