Allahabad University (AU) has announced that for the 2025–26 academic session, admissions to both Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) courses will be conducted through the Samarth portal, ensuring a unified, transparent, and fully digital admission process.

✅ Samarth Portal for Both UG & PG Programs

For the first time, the university will be adopting the Samarth Portal for both UG and PG admissions, enhancing transparency and streamlining coordination among departments. The portal will serve as a centralized platform for application, document verification, merit list publication, and fee payment.

🔢 Number of Seats and Courses Offered

• 🎓 UG Level: Approx. 13,000 seats
• 🎓 PG Level: Approx. 8,000 seats
• 📘 UG Admission in 17 courses
• 📘 PG Admission in 61 courses

Admissions will be offered to a wide variety of programs under the Faculty of Arts, Science, Commerce, and more.

🗓️ Registration to Begin After CUET Results

• UG Admissions: Will be based on CUET UG 2025 results, expected to be released by the last week of June 2025.
• The registration process for UG will begin soon after result declaration through the Samarth portal.

Similarly, PG admission will begin after relevant results are declared.

🌐 Online-Only Admission Process

The complete admission process — from application to document verification and final seat allotment — will be completely online this session. There will be no offline registration or manual verification.

The university administration emphasized that this new system will improve efficiency, reduce errors, and ensure equal opportunity for all applicants.
