National Law University Delhi Announces Academic Fellowship Opportunity

New Delhi:
National Law University (NLU) Delhi, one of India’s most prestigious legal education institutions, has announced its Academic Fellowship Programme for early-career legal scholars. This initiative is part of the Chair on Professional Ethics at NLU Delhi and aims to mentor aspiring academics through research and teaching exposure.

The University is currently inviting applications for one Academic Fellow, with the possibility of expanding the number of positions depending on the suitability of applicants.

About the Fellowship: Fostering Academic Talent in Law

The Academic Fellowship is designed to nurture early-career academics by offering them a platform to engage in legal research and teaching under the guidance of experienced faculty. The selected fellow will work specifically in the areas of:

• Criminal Law
• Professional Ethics

Responsibilities include assisting in teaching, participating in academic discussions, and undertaking rigorous legal research and writing projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist faculty in delivering lectures and tutorials
• Conduct research in core areas related to the Chair
• Draft articles, reports, and academic resources
• Contribute to the intellectual environment of NLU Delhi

Note: Preference will be given to candidates with prior publications or research experience.

Eligibility Criteria

• LL.M. degree from a recognized Indian or foreign university
• Minimum 55% marks or equivalent CGPA
• Strong academic record and research interest
• Excellent writing and analytical skills

Position Details

• Nature of Appointment: Contractual
• Stipend: ₹50,000/- per month
• Location: NLU Delhi Campus, Dwarka, Sector-14
