Prayagraj, June 13, 2025 — The University of Allahabad (AU) successfully concluded the final day of its Post Graduate Admission Test (PGAT) 2025 with the conduct of LLB, LLM, and M.Com entrance examinations in both online and offline modes across various centers, including its constituent colleges. Attendance across all three exams ranged between 84% and 92%, showcasing strong candidate participation.
In the LLB entrance examination, a total of 3,918 candidates registered for the online mode, out of which 3,204 appeared, marking an attendance rate of 82%. Meanwhile, the offline exam, held from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, recorded an 87% turnout — with 4,963 candidates present out of 5,717 registered. In total, the LLB exam saw approximately 15% absenteeism.
The LLM entrance exam witnessed a solid turnout as well. Out of 1,972 candidates registered for the online exam (conducted from 9:30 AM to 11:40 AM), 1,665 appeared, recording an 84% attendance rate. For the offline mode, 2,957 candidates were registered, with 2,601 present — resulting in an 88% attendance rate.
The M.Com entrance test saw the highest participation among the three. The online exam, conducted from 2:00 PM to 4:10 PM, had 459 out of 501 candidates in attendance (92% turnout). The offline version, held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, registered 475 candidates, with 426 appearing — yielding a 90% attendance rate. Overall, the M.Com exam recorded a combined turnout of 91%.
The strong turnout across entrance tests reflects a high level of enthusiasm among aspirants for admission to postgraduate courses at Allahabad University. The results of PGAT 2025 are expected to be announced soon on the official university website. Students are advised to regularly check the AU admission portal for updates.
