About the Internship Opportunity at ALG

ALG organizes its internship programmes on a monthly basis. Every internship begins on the first working day of the month and ends on the last working day. The firm is currently inviting Pre-Final Year law students and Final Year law students for various internship categories.

Eligibility Criteria

• Currently enrolled in a full-time law degree program (3-year or 5-year course recognized by the Bar Council of India)
• Eligible for registration as an Advocate upon graduation
• Pre-Final Year Internship: Open to students in the 4th year (5-year course) or 2nd year (3-year course)
• Final Year (Follow-On) Internship: Only for students who completed Pre-Final Year Internship at ALG and received a recommendation
• Final Year (Regular) Internship: For students who did not intern or were not recommended by ALG previously

Types of Internships at ALG

1️⃣ Pre-Final Year Internship

• Only for students in their penultimate year
• Unpaid internship
• Duration: 1 month
• Cannot be repeated
• Can apply 12 months before entering pre-final year till 1 month before leaving it

2️⃣ Final Year (Follow-On) Internship

• Only for students recommended after a Pre-Final Year internship at ALG
• Must maintain a 6-month gap between the two internships
• Duration: 1 month
• Paid Internship (₹12,500) only if considered an assessment internship for placement
• Selective and competitive

3️⃣ Final Year (Regular) Internship

• For final-year students who did not intern at ALG earlier or were not recommended
• Unpaid internship
• Duration: 1 month
• Applications accepted anytime from entering Final Year to 1 month before graduation

Internship Categories

🔬 1. Patents Internship

• Includes patents, plant varieties, designs, telecom, and technology
• Eligibility: Must have a graduation degree in science

📚 2. General IP Internship

• Includes trademarks, copyrights, environment, and consumer protection
• Open to all eligible law students
