Allahabad University Publishes First Cut-Off for MTech (Materials Science and Technology) 2025
The University of Allahabad has officially released the first cut-off list for MTech (Materials Science and Technology) for the academic session 2025-26. Students aiming to pursue this postgraduate technical program can now check the cut-off and admission schedule.
As per the official notification, the registration and document uploading process commenced on 23rd July 2025. The deadline to complete candidate registration is 25th July 2025 by 2:00 PM, and fee submission and document verification must be done by 5:00 PM on the same day.
MTech (Materials Science) Category-Wise Cut-Off Marks 2025
The University of Allahabad has released the category-wise cut-off scores for admission to MTech (Materials Science and Technology) as follows:
- UR (Unreserved): 89 and above
- OBC (Other Backward Classes): 83 and above
- SC (Scheduled Castes): 80 and above
- EWS (Economically Weaker Section): 88 and above
- WU (Ward of University Employee – EW & TW): 88 and above
In addition, the Special Categories including SP (Sports Quota), PH (Physically Handicapped), Kashmiri Migrants, and Foreign Candidates under List ID 6503403523 are also marked as Open for admission.
Guidelines for MTech Admission Procedure
Candidates whose scores meet or exceed the cut-off marks must complete online registration, document uploading, and fee submission within the prescribed time limits. The university has clearly stated that any candidate failing to complete the steps by 25th July 2025, 5:00 PM, will lose their admission opportunity in the first round.
Future admission rounds will depend on seat availability after the first phase.
