New Delhi, September 2025 – The Ministry of Women and Child Development (MWCD), Government of India, has announced its Internship Programme 2025 aimed at empowering young women from non-Tier I cities and rural parts of India.

📌 About the Internship

The Ministry of Women and Child Development is the apex body responsible for framing and implementing policies related to the welfare, protection, and empowerment of women and children in India. This internship provides a unique opportunity for selected candidates to work closely with the Ministry’s initiatives and gain hands-on policy experience.

💰 Stipend

Each selected intern will receive a stipend of Rs. 20,000/- per month (lump sum) during the internship period.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

• Open to women students, scholars, social activists, and teachers specifically from non-Tier I cities and rural areas.
• Applicants must be enrolled in or associated with a university, academic, or non-academic institution.
• Age limit: 21–40 years.

📍 Location

The internship will take place at the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Delhi.
