💼 ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP
The Legal Internship at S Chaand & Associates is designed to give law students a comprehensive learning experience across both corporate and litigation practice areas.
Interns will get a chance to work directly under experienced lawyers, CAs, and CSs, developing skills in drafting, compliance, client interaction, and case management. This program is ideal for students who want to explore diverse legal domains and learn how the corporate and litigation branches intersect in real practice.
🎓 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Applicants must meet the following conditions:
- Currently pursuing LL.B. (3-year or 5-year) from a recognized university in India.
- Demonstrated interest in both corporate law and litigation.
- Strong communication, drafting, and legal research skills.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary legal environment.
📋 ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Interns will have the opportunity to engage in a wide range of legal tasks, including:
⚖️ Corporate Law & Compliance
- Assisting in corporate compliance and secretarial documentation.
- Supporting the drafting and negotiation of contracts and MoUs.
- Participating in due diligence and transaction-related work such as Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A).
🧾 Litigation & Dispute Resolution
- Assisting in civil and criminal litigation matters before various courts.
- Supporting debt recovery, injunction, and fraud cases.
- Working on GST litigation and tax dispute resolution processes.
🧠 Additional Areas of Exposure
- Assisting with intellectual property law matters.
- Helping in preparation of financial statements and bookkeeping under the guidance of financial professionals.
- Coordinating with internal teams for documentation, compliance reports, and case files.
This is a multidisciplinary internship — offering you a blend of corporate law, finance, and litigation exposure, rarely available in one program.
