Constitution Day Celebrated Under the Theme “Our Constitution – Our Pride” at the Department of Law, C.M.P. Degree College, Prayagraj

The Department of Law, C.M.P. Degree College, Prayagraj, celebrated Constitution Day as part of the year-long series of activities conducted under the Government of India’s theme “Our Constitution – Our Pride.”


The Head and Coordinator of the Law Department, Professor Shiv Shankar Singh, addressed the gathering and enlightened the students about the Fundamental Duties enshrined in the Constitution. He encouraged the students to incorporate constitutional duties into their daily lives as a mark of responsible citizenship.


The programme featured Dr. Ramesh Kumar Singh as the Chief Speaker, who shed light on the historical background and drafting process of the Indian Constitution. He emphasized the tireless efforts and contributions of the Constitution’s framers. The session also included a collective reading of the Preamble, symbolizing unity and constitutional pride.


Towards the conclusion, Dr. Padma Aparajita Parija, Coordinator of the Free Legal Aid & Services Centre, proposed the vote of thanks, acknowledging the participation and contributions of all dignitaries. The programme was successfully conducted by Dr. Ritu Raghuvanshi.

Kishore, Dr. Purnendu Mishra, volunteers of the Free Legal Aid & Services Centre, and students of LL.B. and LL.M.
