National Highways Authority of India Invites Applications for Summer Internship Programme 2026

Stipend of ₹20,000 per month; Applications open till April 15

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has invited applications for its Summer Internship Programme 2026, offering students an opportunity to gain practical exposure in infrastructure development, highway management, and public administration.

According to the official announcement, the internship programme will be conducted during May to July 2026, with tentative dates between 4 May and 5 July 2026.

Eligibility

Students from the following courses are eligible to apply:

• Engineering (Civil and other branches)
• Law
• MBA
• IT / Computer Science
• Electronics
• Electrical
• Data Science
• Artificial Intelligence
• Commerce
• Science
• Mass Communication
• Library Science

This makes the internship multidisciplinary and open to students from various academic backgrounds.

Stipend and Benefits

Selected interns will receive:

• ₹20,000 per month stipend
• Internship Completion Certificate
• Opportunity to work with senior officials
• Practical exposure in infrastructure and public sector projects
• Posting at NHAI field offices or headquarters in New Delhi

The internship aims to provide students with hands-on experience in policy implementation, project management, and infrastructure development.
