The Centre focuses on law, technology, policy research, and legal system reform, working at the intersection of:

About the Internship

The Centre invites applications for its in-person, full-time internship programme.

Selected interns (Student Researchers) will:

• Work closely with faculty and research teams
• Contribute to policy research, datasets, and interdisciplinary projects
• Gain exposure to cutting-edge areas like AI & law

📍 This is a strictly on-campus internship at NLSIU, Bengaluru (40 hours/week)

Eligibility

Applicants must:

• Be enrolled in a 3-year / 5-year LL.B. programme or relevant postgraduate programme
• Be available for full-time (40 hours/week) on campus
• Have strong research and analytical skills
• Have interest in law + technology / policy / interdisciplinary research
• Possess excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

Interns will:

• Assist in legal and interdisciplinary research
• Work on policy, doctrinal, and empirical projects
• Support data collection, coding, and analysis
• Contribute to AI & law projects (LLM evaluation, prompts, datasets)
• Draft research papers, reports, and memos
• Assist in events, workshops, and conferences

Duration

• Rolling internship starting from May 2026
• Requires 40 hours/week commitment
