About the Fellowship
National Law University Delhi is inviting applications for the position of Academic Fellow under the UNESCO Chair for Legal Dimensions of Clean Sports on a contractual basis.
The University seeks to engage one full-time Academic Fellow for the Chair on its campus in Dwarka, New Delhi. The selected candidate will work under the supervision of the Chair Professor or as decided by the University and will be involved in academic research and related activities.
Eligibility
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- LL.M. with specialisation in the concerned field from a recognised Indian or foreign university
- Minimum 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in LL.M.
- Good academic record
- Demonstrable research track record in the concerned subject
- Prior research experience, including fieldwork and data collection, is highly desirable
Responsibilities
The Academic Fellow will:
- Work under the supervision of the Chair Professor
- Assist in research activities
- Contribute to academic and policy research work
- Assist in projects undertaken under the UNESCO Chair
- Perform research-related academic responsibilities assigned by the University
Duration
The appointment will be contractual for an initial period of one year, with the possibility of extension based on:
- Satisfactory performance
- Availability of funds under the respective Chair
Working Hours
The selected candidate must be physically present at the University on all working days from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Stipend
The selected candidate will receive a consolidated remuneration of ₹50,000 per month (subject to TDS deduction @10% under the Income Tax Act).
