About the Organisation

Competition Commission of India is a statutory body established under the Competition Act, 2002 to promote fair competition and prevent anti-competitive practices in India.

Since its establishment in 2003, CCI plays a crucial role in regulating markets and ensuring consumer welfare and economic efficiency.

About the Internship

The CCI Legal Internship Programme offers law students an opportunity to gain practical exposure to competition law, regulatory frameworks, and policy analysis.

Interns work under experienced officers and engage in:

• Legal research
• Policy analysis
• Case studies in competition law
• Drafting and analytical work

🎓 Eligibility

Applicants must be:

• 2nd or 3rd year of 3-year LL.B. course
• 4th or 5th year of 5-year integrated LL.B. course
• LL.M students

📌 Additional Conditions:

• Must be Indian nationals
• Must have basic knowledge of Competition Law
• Students with confirmed placements are NOT eligible

⏳ Duration

• Standard: 1 Month (from 1st working day)
• Extendable: 2–3 months (with recommendation)

💰 Stipend

• ₹15,000 per month (honorarium)

👥 Number of Seats

• 15 interns per month

📍 Location

• New Delhi

📜 Certification

• E-certificate awarded upon successful completion
• Subject to mentor’s evaluation
