About the Organisation

National Legal Services Authority is a statutory body constituted under the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987 to provide free legal services to weaker sections and to organise Lok Adalats for amicable dispute resolution.

About the Internship

The NALSA Internship Programme is designed to give law students practical exposure to legal aid systems and access to justice mechanisms in India.

📅 Duration: 1 Month (4 Weeks)
📆 Starts from the 1st day of every month

🎓 Eligibility

• Students pursuing:
  • 3-Year LL.B.
  • 5-Year Integrated Law Course

✔ Preference:

• 2nd/3rd year (3-year LL.B.)
• 4th/5th year (5-year course)

⚖️ Internship Structure

• Legal research & assistance
• Exposure to NALSA’s functioning
• Field visits to courts & institutions
• Submission of final internship report

📜 Certificate Criteria

• Certificate awarded on successful completion
• Minimum 90% attendance mandatory

❌ No Letter of Recommendation
❌ No stipend/remuneration

⚠️ Important Guidelines

• Full-time offline internship
• 🕙 Timing: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• 📅 Working Days: Monday–Saturday
• Interns must:
  • Arrange their own accommodation
  • Carry their own laptops
  • Follow formal black & white dress code
  • Not engage in any other work/course

• ❌ No stipend / No TA-DA
