Selected candidates will be appointed in:

• Salary: ₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400 per month

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must possess either of the following qualifications:

Option 1

• Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized University/Institution; and
• Minimum 4 years' experience as a Legal Practitioner at the Bar and/or handling legal work in a Central/State Government Department, Autonomous Body, Statutory Body, or Public Sector Undertaking (PSU).

OR

Option 2

• Master's Degree in Law (LL.M.) from a recognized University/Institution; and
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Legal Practitioner at the Bar and/or handling legal work in a Central/State Government Department, Autonomous Body, Statutory Body, or Public Sector Undertaking (PSU).

Desirable Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in:

• Drafting, vetting, and negotiating MoUs, agreements, and contracts.
• Government procurement rules, General Financial Rules (GFR), and CVC guidelines.
• Legal framework applicable to IITs, universities, and autonomous institutions.
• Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), technology transfer, and licensing agreements.
• Court and tribunal matters, including drafting replies and affidavits.
• Coordination with legal counsels.
• MS Office and legal research tools.

Job Responsibilities

The selected candidates will be responsible for:

• Handling legal matters of the Institute.
• Providing legal advice and institutional compliance support.
• Drafting and reviewing legal agreements and contracts.
• Managing litigation and coordinating with legal counsels.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
