About the Internship
The one-month online legal internship aims to bridge the gap between classroom learning and practical legal application. Interns will contribute to rights-based advocacy, legal research, policy analysis, and awareness campaigns addressing issues such as education, malnutrition, menstrual hygiene, and elderly care.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be pursuing a 3-year LL.B. or 5-year integrated law programme (B.A. LL.B./B.B.A. LL.B.).
- Law students from all years are eligible to apply.
- Possess good communication, legal research, and writing skills.
- Have an interest in public interest law, human rights, legal awareness, and community service.
Work Profile
Selected interns will:
- Research legal and policy frameworks related to social justice.
- Draft legal awareness materials, including pamphlets, posters, and digital content.
- Prepare campaign content and assist in digital fundraising initiatives.
- Monitor legal developments and recommend policy reforms.
- Support the NGO's pro bono lawyer network and outreach activities.
- Create educational videos and short reels to spread legal awareness.
- Learn the process of filing RTIs and prepare advocacy reports on selected social issues.
Duration
One Month
Selected interns are expected to join during the first week of the month following their selection.
Mode
Online (Remote)
All assignments will be completed remotely with digital reporting and mentorship.
Stipend
This is an unpaid internship.
However, outstanding performers will receive:
