Ishwar Saran Degree College Announces Temporary Faculty Recruitment for B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) Programme

Ishwar Saran Degree College (ISDC), Prayagraj, has invited applications for the engagement of temporary faculty for its B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) Five-Year Integrated Course (Self-Finance). Eligible candidates can submit their applications in the prescribed format by 4 July 2026.

The recruitment will be conducted in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and Other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges) Regulations, 2018.

Vacancy Details

ISDC has notified a total of 9 temporary faculty positions for the B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) programme across different disciplines.

The vacancies are as follows:

• Law Subjects: 6 Posts (5 Unreserved, 1 OBC)
• Sociology: 1 Post
• Political Science: 1 Post
• English: 1 Post

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must possess the qualifications prescribed under the UGC Regulations, 2018 for appointment as faculty in colleges and universities.

Additionally:

• Candidates must have secured at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in the qualifying examination.
• A relaxation of 5% marks is available for eligible reserved category candidates as per UGC norms.
• Since the medium of instruction for the B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) programme is English, applicants must be proficient in the English language.

Salary

Selected candidates will receive a fixed remuneration of ₹45,000 per month.

Nature of Appointment

The appointments are purely temporary under the Self-Finance Scheme and will remain valid up to 31 May 2027, or until regular contractual faculty members are appointed, whichever is earlier.

Application Fee

Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable application fee through RTGS/NEFT as follows:

• General / EWS / SEBC: ₹500
• SC / ST: ₹200

Important Dates

• Advertisement Date: 12 June 2026
• Last Date to Submit Application: 4 July 2026
• Tentative Interview Schedule: Second/Third Week of July 2026

Selection Process

Eligible candidates will be shortlisted and called for an interview. The date and venue of the interview will be notified on the official college website.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
