UNICEF has invited applications for the position of Meaningful Youth Participation Specialist (National UN Volunteer) under its flagship youth initiative, YuWaah, in New Delhi. The selected candidate will work closely with UNICEF and the YuWaah Secretariat to strengthen youth participation in policy-making, institutional practices, and development programmes across India.

Key Responsibilities
The selected volunteer will support UNICEF's youth engagement agenda through a wide range of activities, including:
Youth Engagement Strategy
- Implement UNICEF-YuWaah youth participation priorities.
- Coordinate activities aligned with FY 2026–27 plans.
- Collaborate with programme teams and stakeholders.
Young People's Action Team (YPAT)
- Coordinate engagement activities for the fifth cohort of YPAT.
- Organize meetings, town halls, and leadership interactions.
- Facilitate capacity-building and youth development initiatives.
Youth Mentorship Programmes
- Coordinate mentorship opportunities for young people.
- Engage with YuWaah Governing Board members and mentors.
- Support leadership development initiatives.
Partnership Development
- Prepare briefing notes and stakeholder engagement plans.
- Collaborate with government bodies, civil society organizations, and private sector partners.
- Strengthen multi-stakeholder partnerships.
Yutopia Alliance Support
- Support the implementation of Yutopia: A Public-Private-Youth Collective.
- Promote knowledge-sharing and collaboration among alliance partners.
- Amplify partner commitments and youth-centered initiatives.
Communications and Outreach
- Support youth engagement campaigns.
- Assist in social media and awareness initiatives.
- Develop communication and knowledge products.
