Athena Law Associates has invited applications for the position of Assessment Intern in its Indirect Tax Litigation practice. The internship offers aspiring legal professionals an opportunity to gain practical experience in matters relating to GST, Customs, Foreign Trade Policy (FTP), and other allied indirect tax laws.
The internship is scheduled to commence from July/August 2026 onwards. Candidates who perform exceptionally well during the internship may also be considered for a permanent position with the firm after completing their law degree.

About the Internship
The Assessment Internship is designed to provide interns with practical exposure to indirect tax litigation and allied commercial laws. Interns will work on legal research, drafting, and litigation-related assignments involving GST, Customs, Foreign Trade Policy, and other regulatory issues.
Outstanding interns may receive an opportunity to join the firm as permanent associates after successfully completing their law degree.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be final-year students of a 5-year integrated LL.B. programme or a 3-year LL.B. programme, or be fresh law graduates.
- Possess a basic understanding of GST, Customs Law, and the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP).
- Have strong legal drafting and formatting skills.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Word.
Stipend
The internship offers performance-based remuneration.
