CUET UG 2025 Admit Card Released: Important Instructions for Candidates Issued by NTA

New Delhi, May 10, 2025 – The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the admit cards for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2025 on its website cuet.nta.nic.in. Candidates scheduled to appear for the examination starting May 13 can now download their hall tickets. Alongside the admit card, NTA has also issued a comprehensive list of important instructions for examinees to ensure the exam is conducted smoothly and fairly across all centers.

Exam Dates and Mode

CUET UG 2025 will be conducted from May 13 to June 3, 2025 in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode at over 300 centers in India and abroad. Candidates are advised to check the exact date and slot of their paper in their admit card.

Steps to Download CUET UG 2025 Admit Card

  1. Visit cuet.nta.nic.in
  2. Click on the link titled “CUET UG 2025 Admit Card”
  3. Login using your application number and password
  4. Download the admit card and print all pages on A4-size paper
  5. Fill in the Self Declaration section before the exam day

Key Instructions to Be Followed by Candidates

Entry and Reporting

  • Candidates must report to the exam center at the time indicated in their admit card.
  • Late arrivals will not be allowed entry after the gate closing time.
  • Candidates should verify that the subject mentioned in the question paper matches their selection; any discrepancy must be reported immediately to the invigilator.

Admit Card and Valid ID

  • Entry will be permitted only with the admit card, valid government-issued photo ID, and filled Self Declaration.
  • No scanned or photocopied ID proofs will be accepted.
  • The admit card consists of two pages:
    • Page 1: Exam center and self-declaration
    • Page 2: Important instructions

Permitted Items Inside the Exam Hall

  • Transparent water bottle
  • Admit Card
  • 2 additional passport-size photographs
  • Original valid photo ID proof

Prohibited Items

  • No pens, calculators, mobile phones, electronic gadgets, metallic objects, shoes with thick soles, or clothing with large buttons will be allowed inside.
  • There will be no facility for safekeeping of personal items at the venue.

Special Provisions for PwD/PwBD Candidates

  • Candidates with 40% or more disability will get 20 minutes of compensatory time per hour of examination.
  • They may bring their own scribe or request one from NTA.
  • A PwD certificate from a competent authority must be carried along with the scribe’s self-declaration and photo ID.

Inside the Examination Hall

  • Candidates must remain seated and await invigilator instructions after completing the paper.
  • Blank rough sheets will be provided; candidates must write their name and roll number on each and submit them before leaving.
  • Leaving the hall early is strictly prohibited.

Strict Monitoring and Security Measures

  • All centers will have CCTV surveillance and signal jammers.
  • Frisking via handheld metal detectors (HHMD) will be conducted without physical contact.

  • The admit card is provisional and subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
  • Candidates must verify the location of the exam center in advance.
  • If candidates wear attire per religious/customary practices, they must arrive early for thorough frisking.
