PGAT-2025 Receives Overwhelming Response from Postgraduate Aspirants
The University of Allahabad has recorded a strong turnout for its Postgraduate Admission Test (PGAT-2025), with thousands of students showing interest in its diverse PG programmes. As per the official data released by the university, 46,303 registrations had been recorded as of 15 May 2025 at 4:00 PM, out of which 21,996 candidates had successfully submitted their final applications by paying the registration fee.
Registration Fees Structure
Candidates were required to pay registration fees based on their category and the type of test:
PGAT-I Courses:
- Unreserved, EWS, OBC: ₹1000
- SC/ST/PwD: ₹500
PGAT-II Courses:
- Unreserved, EWS, OBC: ₹1600
- SC/ST/PwD: ₹800

- Start of Online Registration: 25 April 2025
- Last Date for Registration & Payment: 16 May 2025
- Admit Card Download: One week before the entrance test
- Entrance Test (PGAT-2025):
- PGAT-I (List I, II, III & IV): First week of June 2025 (Tentative)
- PGAT-II (List V): First week of June 2025 (Tentative)
Admit Card Download Instructions
Candidates whose applications have been successfully submitted can download their admit cards from:

They must log in using their Application ID and Date of Birth. Only valid applications will be processed for admit cards.

Candidates need to keep the following ready:
- Scanned Photograph (3.5 cm x 4.5 cm in JPEG format, max 80 KB)

- Academic Bank of Credit (ABC) ID
