PGAT-2025 Registration Deadline Extended, Correction Window Open & Exam Dates Announced: Allahabad University Issues Official Notification

In a major relief to thousands of aspirants, the University of Allahabad has officially extended the last date for registration, application submission, and fee payment for the Postgraduate Admission Test (PGAT)-2025 up to 20th May 2025. The announcement was made through a formal press release by the Director of Admissions, Prof. Jayanta Kumar Pati, on 16th May 2025.
No Further Extension After 20th May
The university clarified that this is the final extension, and no further opportunity will be provided to apply. Candidates are urged to complete their registration and fee payment within this period to avoid disqualification.
Correction Window Open from 22nd to 23rd May 2025
Candidates who have already submitted their applications and paid the fees will be allowed to make corrections in their application forms. This correction window will remain open from 22nd May to 23rd May 2025. However, some fields will be non-editable, including:
- Category
- Email ID
- Mobile Number
- Type of Disability (PwD)
- Course Applied
Students must verify these fields carefully before submission, as no further changes will be entertained post-deadline.
PGAT-2025 Exam Dates Announced
The PGAT-2025 examinations are scheduled to be held on 10, 11, 12, and 13 June 2025. A detailed day-wise schedule for various subjects and courses will be released soon on the official portals.

CUET (PG) Not Applicable for PGAT-2025
The university has clearly stated that CUET (PG)-2025 scores will NOT be accepted for admission to any postgraduate or professional courses through PGAT-2025. Candidates must appear in PGAT-2025 separately for consideration.

Registration Fees Structure

PGAT-I Courses:
- Unreserved, EWS, OBC: ₹1000
- SC/ST/PwD: ₹500
PGAT-II Courses:
- Unreserved, EWS, OBC: ₹1600
- SC/ST/PwD: ₹800
