Varanasi, June 11, 2025 – In response to multiple requests from applicants, Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has extended the last date for Postgraduate (PG) registration under CAP-2025. The new deadline for online application submission is June 15, 2025, up to 11:59 PM, as per the official notice released by the university's Central Admission Committee dated June 10, 2025.
The university further informed that a correction window will be activated for registered candidates between June 16 and June 18, 2025. During this period, applicants can rectify any errors or update their application details online.

🗓️ Tentative Schedule for BHU PG Admission 2025
BHU has already released a comprehensive tentative schedule for the postgraduate admission process. The registration began on May 22, 2025, and with the extension, students now have until June 15, 2025 to apply.
Key selection activities such as Group Discussions (GDs), Personal Interviews, and Practical/Fitness Tests are tentatively scheduled from June 30 to July 6, 2025, for shortlisted candidates.

The university will initiate allotment rounds starting July 14, 2025, followed by multiple phases:
- 1st Round Allotment: July 14, 2025
- 2nd Round Allotment: July 18, 2025
- Mid-entry Registration: July 22, 2025
- 3rd Round Allotment: July 29, 2025
- 4th Round Allotment: August 01, 2025

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CANDIDATES BEFORE REGISTERING ONLINE
- Admission to all PG Programs of BHU will be done on the basis of the Common University Entrance Test- Postgraduate 2025 [CUET (PG) – 2025] only, for the academic year 2025-26. BHU has adopted Combined Allotment Program for Post Graduation courses [CAP (PG) – 2025].
- Candidate must ensure that he/she has opted for Banaras Hindu University (BHU) at the time of filling up of CUET 2025 form of NTA and has appeared in the concerned test for the PG Programs of BHU.
- Candidates must read, understand and familiarize themselves with the NTA CUET (PG) Information Bulletin, BHU Post Graduation Information Bulletin (PGIB) -2025 and BHU Combined Allotment Program for Post Graduation Courses [CAP (PG) - 2025] before proceeding with the registration.
- The basic eligibility for admission in Postgraduate Program is based on the following:
- Entrance Test Subjects chosen at the examination conducted by NTA-CUET (PG).
- NTA -CUET (PG) score obtained for specific Postgraduate Program of BHU.
- Subjects studied at graduation level.
- Percentage of marks scored at graduation level. In case of CGPA, the same should be converted into percentage as per rules of the concerned university.
- Candidate's Date of Birth, Gender, Category claim (if applicable) and the selection of PG Program should be the same as opted in the NTA entrance examination. Any mismatch information will lead to the cancellation of the candidate’s candidature.
- Registration for BHU will be based on the NTA Application Number therefore candidate should have valid NTA Application Number.
- Candidate must keep ready a scanned copy (jpeg or pdf) of 10th Marksheet, 12th Marksheet, UG Marksheets (All semester marksheet), Birth Certificate and other relevant documents.
- Candidate must be prepared to pay the Registration Fee (Non-refundable) online during the registration process.
- Candidates must carefully check their age eligibility for the specific courses from the BHU Information Bulletin before applying.
