About the Opportunity
Karavadi & Associates is currently hiring a Senior Associate – Litigation to join its dynamic and growing team.
This position is best suited for experienced litigators who are passionate about courtroom practice, legal drafting, and client advisory services.
As a Senior Associate, you will be responsible for leading litigation matters, mentoring junior associates, managing case files, and ensuring smooth coordination across the firm’s practice areas. The role offers exposure to high-value disputes and a collaborative environment to enhance your professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting and vetting of pleadings, affidavits, written statements, and legal notices.
- Representing clients before District Courts, High Courts, NCLT, and other tribunals.
- Conducting in-depth legal research and preparing detailed case briefs.
- Managing and supervising ongoing litigation portfolios.
- Liaising with clients, preparing legal opinions, and providing sound legal advice.
- Coordinating with external counsels and ensuring timely filings.
- Supporting the firm in maintaining its quality standards and client satisfaction benchmarks.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the role of Senior Associate (Litigation), candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Experience: Minimum 3 to 5+ years in litigation practice.
- Specialization: Must have strong experience in Civil, Criminal, Commercial, and Corporate litigation.
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in law (LL.B) from a recognized university.
- Skills Required:
- Excellent legal drafting and research abilities.
- Strong communication and argumentation skills.
- Capability to work independently and lead a small litigation team.
