📢 Kerala State Legal Services Authority (KeLSA) is inviting law students to apply for its flagship internship program — “Nyaya Praveshika” — for November–December 2025.
🏛️ About the Kerala State Legal Services Authority (KeLSA)
The Kerala State Legal Services Authority (KeLSA), established under the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987, is a statutory body committed to ensuring “Access to Justice for All”.
KeLSA works to promote legal awareness, organize Lok Adalats, and provide free legal aid to marginalized sections of society. It also conducts extensive legal literacy and outreach programs to bridge the gap between citizens and the justice delivery system.
Through its numerous initiatives, KeLSA plays a crucial role in upholding the constitutional mandate of equal justice and empowering people through legal education and support.
🎓 About the Internship – Nyaya Praveshika
The KeLSA Internship Programme (Nyaya Praveshika) offers a unique opportunity for law students to gain practical exposure to the functioning of legal aid institutions and the judicial system.
This year’s internship is scheduled for 24 November 2025 to 18 December 2025, and will take place at the High Court of Kerala, along with other allied legal institutions in Ernakulam.
💡 Objective of the Programme
The Nyaya Praveshika Internship is designed to provide a 21-day immersive experience for law students to understand:
- The operations of the judiciary, especially in the context of legal aid
- The structure and role of Legal Services Authorities
- The justice delivery mechanism from the grassroots to the High Court level
The internship includes:
- Institutional visits to courts, mediation centers, and legal aid clinics
- Research assignments on contemporary legal aid issues
- Interactive sessions with Judges, Senior Advocates, and Legal Services Functionaries
- Work-shadowing opportunities with advocates and judicial officers
Selected candidates will receive a detailed schedule along with their official offer letter.
📘 Eligibility Criteria
Students pursuing:
- A 3-year LL.B. course, or
- A 5-year integrated LL.B. course
from any Bar Council of India (BCI) recognized law college or university are eligible to apply.

📍 Location: High Court of Kerala & allied institutions, Ernakulam
🧾 Certification
Upon successful completion of the internship, each participant will receive a Certificate of Internship issued by the Kerala State Legal Services Authority (KeLSA), acknowledging their participation and contribution to the program.

Download and fill out the Application Form (Annexure A1) completely and sign it.
Step 2:
Attach the following documents along with the form:
- A copy of your student ID card issued by your college/university
- A Statement of Purpose (SoP) not exceeding 500 words, explaining your motivation for joining the KeLSA Internship
- A Curriculum Vitae (CV) not exceeding two pages
