The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released a Public Notice dated 14 December 2025, inviting online applications for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) (PG) – 2026. The examination will be conducted for admission to Postgraduate programmes in Central Universities and other participating institutions across India for the Academic Session 2026–27.
The CUET (PG) examination is conducted under the mandate of the Ministry of Education and the University Grants Commission (UGC) to ensure a single-window, standardized admission process for postgraduate courses nationwide.
CUET (PG) is a national-level entrance examination that enables candidates to seek admission into Postgraduate programmes offered by:
- Central Universities
- State Universities
- Deemed Universities
- Private Universities
- Autonomous Colleges & Institutions
Since 2022, CUET has become the mandatory gateway for PG admissions in Central Universities.
