Internship Opportunity at the Office of Hon’ble Mr. Justice Vikram Nath, Supreme Court of India – Apply Monthly

The Office of Hon’ble Mr. Justice Vikram Nath, Judge of the Supreme Court of India, has invited applications for its Judicial Internship Programme. The internships are offered on a rolling basis for specific periods between February and May, in accordance with the Supreme Court’s official working calendar.

This internship provides an invaluable opportunity for young law graduates and final-year law students to gain direct exposure to constitutional adjudication, judicial research, and Supreme Court functioning.

About the Internship

The internship programme is structured around the Supreme Court’s working days and is offered only for the following periods:

• 1 February to 28 February
• 8 March to 26 March
• 1 April to 30 April
• 2 May to 29 May

Applicants may apply for only these specified slots. The internship certificate will strictly mention the selected period, and no alternative dates will be entertained.

Eligibility Criteria

The internship is strictly limited to the following candidates:

• Fresh law graduates, or
• Final year students, namely:
  • 5th year students of a 5-Year Integrated Law Course, or
  • 3rd year students of a 3-Year LL.B. Course

Students from earlier years are not eligible to apply.

Nature of Internship

Selected interns may be involved in:

• Legal and constitutional research
• Case brief preparation
• Assistance in judicial work (as assigned)
• Understanding Supreme Court procedures and court craft

This internship is particularly beneficial for students aspiring to careers in litigation, judicial services, academia, or constitutional practice.

Last Date to Apply

• Applications must be submitted before the 15th of every month for consideration for the upcoming internship slot.

Late applications will not be entertained.
