BPSC APO 2026 Application Process: Step-by-Step Guide to Create Profile and Apply Online

  

Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has explained the profile creation and application process for candidates applying for the Assistant Prosecution Officer (APO) Recruitment 2026. Before submitting the online application form, applicants must complete One Time Registration (OTR) and create their profile on the official portal.

Below is a detailed step-by-step guide to complete the BPSC profile creation process.

Step 1: Personal Information

In this step, candidates must enter their basic personal details including:

  • Category (UR, EWS, BC, EBC, SC, ST)
  • Disability details (if applicable)
  • Sports quota details
  • Ex-serviceman status
  • NCC cadet information
  • Government employee status

After filling all required details, candidates must click on the Save button.

Step 2: Address Information

Applicants must provide their permanent address details, including:

  • Full address
  • State
  • District
  • PIN Code

Candidates must also enter their correspondence address. If the correspondence address is the same as the permanent address, they can select “Same as Above”.

After completing the information, click Save.

Step 3: Other Information

In this section, candidates must declare:

  • Any criminal case pending against them
  • Any previous conviction or legal action

Once the information is provided, click the Save button.

Step 4: Qualification Information

Candidates must provide details of their educational qualifications starting from Class 10th onwards.

Information required includes:

  • Qualification name (10th, 12th, Graduation, etc.)
  • Subject / Stream
  • Board / University
  • Status (Completed or Appearing)
  • Year of passing
  • Number of attempts
  • Marks obtained
  • Total marks
  • Percentage
  • Mode of study (Regular / Distance)
  • Mandatory and optional subjects
  • Seat / Roll Number

Candidates can add multiple qualifications using the Add button and then click Save.

Step 5: Experience Information

If the candidate has previous work experience, they must provide details such as:

  • Current or previous workplace
  • Type of employment
  • Department name
  • Government / Private organization details
  • Work experience description

If there is no work experience, candidates can select “No”. After entering the details, click Save.

Step 6: Upload Photo, Signature & Profile Lock

In the final step, candidates must upload:

  • Live photograph using webcam
  • Signature in Hindi and English

Photo & Signature Requirements

  • File size: Maximum 20 KB
  • Photo width: 150–220 pixels
  • Photo height: 250–320 pixels

After uploading the documents:

  1. Click Save
  2. Tick the declaration checkbox confirming the correctness of details
  3. Click Submit and Lock Profile

Once the profile is locked, candidates can proceed to apply for the APO recruitment.

Important Instructions for Candidates

  • After completing One Time Registration (OTR), candidates can edit their profile if required by unlocking it.
  • Once the profile is locked, it will appear under Active Advertisements in the portal.
  • After submitting the application for a particular advertisement, no changes can be made in the submitted details.

Candidates should carefully verify all information before locking their profile.
