About the Internship
CLC is inviting applications from law students for internships during the months of March and April 2026 in the field of Direct and Indirect Taxation.
Interns will gain practical exposure to:
• Legal research on income tax, GST, and other tax statutes
• Drafting replies, opinions, and legal submissions
• Assisting in preparation of case briefs and documentation
• Observing tax litigation and advisory processes
• Understanding client strategy and dispute resolution mechanisms
This internship is ideal for students who wish to build a career in tax litigation, advisory, or commercial law practice.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be:
• 3rd, 4th, or 5th year students of a 5-year integrated LL.B. programme
• 2nd or 3rd year students of a 3-year LL.B. programme
Preference:
Prior internship experience in taxation will be considered an added advantage.
