The Centre for Research on International Trade (CRIT) at IIFT conducts research in international trade and policy, and includes the Centre for WTO Studies, which focuses on trade law, WTO policy, and global trade negotiations.

About the Job

The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade is inviting online applications for the following positions:

• Consultant
• Associate
• Young Professional (with experience)
• Young Professional (without experience)

These roles provide opportunities to work in international trade law, public policy, economics, WTO law, and policy research.

Positions & Salary

Consultant

💰 Salary: ₹1,45,000 – ₹2,65,000 (PhD candidates)
💰 Salary: ₹1,37,500 – ₹2,65,000 (Non-PhD candidates)

Eligibility:

• Master’s degree in Economics, Law, International Law, Public Policy, Data Science, Cost Accounting, or related field
• Minimum 8 years post-qualification experience (including 3 years in relevant field)
• Experience in international trade, economics, diplomacy, or policy research preferred

Associate

💰 Salary: ₹80,000 – ₹1,45,000 per month

Eligibility:

• Master’s degree in relevant fields (Economics, Law, International Law, Public Policy, etc.)
• Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience (including 1 year relevant experience)
• Research/work experience preferred

Young Professional (With Experience)

💰 Salary: ₹60,000 per month

Eligibility:

• Master’s degree in Economics, Law, International Law, Public Policy, or related discipline
• Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience
• Age not more than 35 years
• Minimum 55% marks in Bachelor’s and Master’s
• Experience in international trade, international law, investment, or public policy preferred

Young Professional (Without Experience)

💰 Salary: ₹50,000 per month

Eligibility:

• LL.B. or Master’s degree in Economics, Diplomacy, International Relations, Public Policy, or related field
• Degree from top-ranked institutions (NIRF or global rankings)
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Strong English and research skills
