The Office of the District Collector, Madurai, has invited applications from eligible advocates for the appointment of 31 Law Officers in various courts across Madurai District. The appointments will be made under the provisions of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023.
The recruitment includes appointments to the posts of Public Prosecutor, Additional Public Prosecutor, Government Pleader, Assistant Public Prosecutor, Special Public Prosecutor, and other Law Officer positions in different courts within the district.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be practicing advocates and satisfy the eligibility conditions prescribed under the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023.
Candidates must possess the required number of years of legal practice applicable to the respective post. The prescribed experience varies depending on the nature and seniority of the position.
Only advocates fulfilling the statutory eligibility requirements will be considered.
Selection Process
The appointments will be made in accordance with the provisions of the BNSS, 2023 and the applicable Government guidelines governing the appointment of Law Officers.
Eligible applications will be scrutinized by the competent authority before final selection.
