Barclays, one of the world's leading international financial institutions, has invited applications for the position of Legal Inventory Management APAC at its Pune office. The role offers an opportunity to work with the bank's global Legal Inventory Management (LIM) team and contribute to strengthening Barclays' legal and regulatory risk management framework.
The selected candidate will work closely with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Business, and Technology teams in developing, maintaining, and implementing the bank's Laws, Rules, and Regulations (LRR) Inventories across the Asia-Pacific region.

Legal Inventory Management APAC
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should possess:
- Experience as a Paralegal, Qualified Lawyer (or equivalent), or Compliance Officer.
- Experience in handling, analysing, interpreting, validating, and maintaining large volumes of data.
- Prior experience in the financial services sector within a Legal, Compliance, or similar function.
- Strong understanding of legal compliance and risk and control processes.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with:
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and legal professionals.
- Good understanding of legal and regulatory risk management frameworks.
- Experience in implementing process improvements and change initiatives.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across global teams and business functions.
Roles and Responsibilities
The selected candidate will:
- Assist in developing, maintaining, and managing the Laws, Rules, and Regulations (LRR) Inventories.
- Support legal procedures relating to LRR Risk Management.
- Prepare and maintain Management Information (MI) for governance forums.
- Contribute to data governance, quality assurance, and database enhancements.
- Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Business, and Technology teams.
- Support legal training and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Assist lawyers in remediation activities relating to legal and regulatory risks.
- Ensure legal and regulatory obligations are appropriately reflected in internal policies, standards, and controls.
- Conduct legal research, regulatory analysis, and support special compliance projects.
- Contribute to strengthening Barclays' legal risk and control culture.
