Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), one of India’s premier educational institutions, has released the official admission guidelines for its Postgraduate (PG) programmes for the academic session 2025-26. The university has diversified the admission process based on the nature of each programme.
Admission to MA, MSc, MCA, MPH, MTech (General), PG Diplomas, and Advanced Diplomas via CUET PG 2025
Candidates seeking admission to the following programmes will need to appear for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET PG 2025):
- Master of Arts (M.A.)
- Master of Science (M.Sc.)
- Master of Computer Applications (MCA)
- Master of Public Health (MPH)
- Master of Technology (except certain specializations)
- Post Graduate Diploma Programmes
- Advanced Diploma Programmes
This entrance will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), and applicants are advised to regularly check the official CUET PG 2025 portal for updates on application dates and syllabus.
JNU M.Sc. in Biotechnology and Computational Biology Through GAT-B 2025
Admissions to the M.Sc. in Biotechnology and M.Sc. in Computational Biology programmes will be done based on scores obtained in the Graduate Aptitude Test – Biotechnology (GAT-B 2025). The test is conducted by the Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB) under the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India.
JNU MBA Admission 2025 Based on CAT 2024 Score
For the MBA programme offered by the Atal Bihari Vajpayee School of Management and Entrepreneurship (ABVSME), admission will be granted based on the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024 score. Candidates must also apply separately on the JNU website after submitting their CAT application.
M.Tech in CSE & ECE via CCMT 2025
Admissions to the M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering and M.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering, offered by the School of Engineering, will be conducted through the Centralized Counselling for M.Tech (CCMT 2025). These programmes will consider GATE scores for eligibility.
