About the Organisation

The Office of the Principal District & Sessions Judge (HQs), Delhi is responsible for administrative and judicial functions of the District Courts in Delhi. It oversees court administration, judicial functioning, and implementation of various judicial initiatives across district courts.

About the Opportunity

The Office has invited applications for the engagement of 13 Law Researchers for District Judges (Commercial Courts), Central District, Delhi.

The engagement is on a short-term contractual basis for one year for the financial year 2026–27. Out of the total positions, 10 vacancies are anticipated to arise from April 1, 2026.

The engagement is being made in terms of the directions issued by the Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) Committee.

Eligibility

Candidates must satisfy the following requirements:

• Graduate in Law from a recognised law school/college/university recognised by the Bar Council of India
• Minimum 55% aggregate marks
• Must be eligible for enrolment as an Advocate with the Bar Council
• Good knowledge of computers
• Preference may be given to candidates having:
  • Postgraduate degree in law
  • Relevant legal experience

• Including: 10 anticipated vacancies from April 1, 2026

Remuneration

💰 Fixed monthly remuneration of ₹50,000

Duration

📆 1 Year (Financial Year 2026–27)
