About the Internship

The ART32 Research Internship forms part of a larger empirical legal research project focused on the structured review and legal classification of publicly available Supreme Court orders. The project combines legal analysis with technology-assisted research methods to support empirical studies of constitutional litigation and judicial decision-making.

Interns will gain practical experience in analysing judicial orders while contributing to a significant research initiative on constitutional law and court processes.

Eligibility

  • Be in the second year or above of a 3-year or 5-year LL.B. programme.
  • LL.M. students and recent law graduates are also eligible to apply.
  • Be capable of carefully reading judicial orders, following structured coding protocols, and maintaining consistency throughout research assignments.

Prior research experience is desirable but not mandatory.

Selected interns will:

  • Conduct structured manual reviews of publicly available Supreme Court orders.
  • Classify judicial orders in accordance with the project's coding protocol.
  • Maintain consistency, accuracy, and quality in legal research assignments.
