Justice M.M. Sundresh Invites Applications for Judicial Internship Programme for August & September 2026

Applications are now open for the Judicial Internship Programme under the Office of Hon’ble Mr. Justice M.M. Sundresh for the August 2026 and September 2026 batches. The internship offers law students a unique opportunity to gain first-hand exposure to judicial research, court functioning, and the workings of the higher judiciary by closely assisting the Office of Hon’ble Justice M.M. Sundresh.

The programme is ideal for students aspiring to build a career in litigation, judicial services, academia, or legal research.

About the Judicial Internship

The Judicial Internship Programme enables selected interns to work directly with the Office of Hon’ble Mr. Justice M.M. Sundresh, where they will gain practical insights into judicial decision-making, legal research, case analysis, and court procedures.

The internship provides an opportunity to understand the functioning of the judiciary while enhancing legal research and analytical skills.

Eligibility

Applicants must satisfy either of the following criteria:

• Students in the 4th year or final year of a 5-year integrated B.A. LL.B. (or equivalent) programme.
• Students in the 2nd year (4th semester) or final year of a 3-year LL.B. programme.

Selection Process

Selection will be carried out through the following stages:

• Applications must be submitted only through the prescribed Google Form.
• Shortlisted candidates will be informed approximately two weeks before the commencement of the internship.
• Final selection will be based on the candidate's merit and performance in a typed brief-making exercise.
• Candidates who do not receive any communication should treat their application as unsuccessful.
